St Lucia's motto, "Simply Beautiful", explains why this island is amongst the list of the top 10 destinations in the world for overseas weddings, and one of the most popular choices for Caribbean honeymoons.
With its numerous natural beauty spots, St Lucia is seen by many as the island of ultimate romance, and many of its hotels and resorts have been constructed to reinforce this. Whether you prefer the first class service and surroundings of one of the island's intimate boutique hotels nestled in the hills overlooking the majestic Pitons, the countless facilities and range of activities provided by one of the deluxe resorts, or the privacy of one of the independent villas situated on the hillside of the exclusive Cap Estate, St Lucia is an idyllic choice for couples wanting to exchange their vows in a truly tropical setting.

Couples can marry immediately on arrival on the island, but there will be an additional cost for a special licence. Otherwise we recommend couples marry after at least 2 days stay to facilitate all the required paperwork for a normal marriage licence and to meet with your wedding co-ordinator to ensure you are happy with all the arrangements that have been put in place. The minimum cost required for marrying on the island is $443EC dollars (approx £110) to cover the cost of the marriage licence, registrar fees and marriage certificate.

ROMANTIC RETREATS - Voted one of the top 10 most romantic resorts of the world, Anse Chastanet is our recommended boutique hotel for couples wanting to enjoy the ultimate wedding and honeymoon location. With its unique design and tranquil and picturesque setting, couples are assured a memorable stay, particularly in one of their deluxe or premium hillside rooms with missing wall giving completely uninterupted views of the dramatic twin peak Pitons. Couples staying in these rooms and spending 7 nights or more can enjoy a complimentary pre and post wedding spa treatment each. You then have a choice of locations when marrying at the hotel, including one of the resort's two beaches, the private treehouse or the colonial plantation. If you book before end February for weddings at the resort between May and September and are spending a minimum 9 nights half or full board your wedding is offered FREE. However, there are a number of special romance packages available for couples who wish to add to their wedding package and enjoy a special honeymoon at the resort following their marriage. For full details of these packages see our weddings and honeymoon offers below.
